Accordingly, BCG’s rank is 270th among all businesses and 157th among all domestic private businesses, up from 421st and 249th in 2021, respectively.

Bamboo Capital Group, listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) as BCG, earned after-tax profits of VND885.32 billion ($35.65 million) on revenues of VND3,311 billion in the first nine months of the year, up 26.24% and 73.81% year-on-year, respectively.

By September 30, 2022, BCG’s total assets were VND43,752 billion ($1.76 billion), up 16.1% compared to the beginning of the year. Owner equity jumped 63.3% to VND13,634 billion ($549 million) after the nine months.

Founded in 2011, BCG has grown into a top multi-sector business in Vietnam, with key sectors of renewable energy, real estate, and financial services. Other notable sectors are construction, production, commerce, service, and pharmaceuticals.

For the 2023-2026 period, renewable energy will play a key role in BCG’s growth strategy. The firm now cooperates with reputable foreign partners, including Singapore Power Limited (SP Group) and Singapore-headquartered Sembcorp Industries, to develop solar and wind power projects, contributing to Vietnam’s net-zero target for 2050.
