General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development Viet Nam admitted 9 new members including BCG at the Southern Representative Office on the morning of May 30, 2019 (10th floor, No. 12 Vo Van Kiet, Nguyen Thai Binh ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development Viet Nam held a ceremony to hand over certificates members for 9 new collective members who operate in the agricultural sector.

Representatives of the participating enterprises have the following: Mr. Ho Duc Lam – Chairman of Rang Dong Long An Plastic Joint Stock Company, Mr. Lam Dao Hung – Chairman of Minh Hung Group, Mr. Le Anh Vien – CEO Anh Minh Anh Limited Liability Company, Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam – Chairman of Bamboo Capital Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung – Vice Chairman and CEO of TRACODI, Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan – Deputy CEO of TRACODI, Ms. Tran Thi Chau Loan – Chairman of Nam Chau Son Food Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Thanh Phuc – Executive Director of Truong Phat Company Limited and Mr. Phan Cong Binh – Director of Cong Binh Private Enterprise.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ho Xuan Hung, President of the General Council expressed his excitement because of these new members who are large enterprises in the agricultural sector. As mentioned about the important role of the General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development Viet Nam, he stated that there are about 4,000 nationwide council but there are only 4 General Council.

On behalf of the new members, Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Capital Joint Stock Company, said that it was an honor to join in this General Council. As an enterprise, Bamboo Capital joined the General Council in order to contribute in General Council’s aim as much as possible to propose appropriate mechanisms to build a closer relationship between operating enterprises in agriculture Viet Nam.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang – Deputy General Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Nong Thon Viet magazine said that he was extremely expected that new members would share responsibilities together to fulfill the role of connecting enterprises in the southern region, building higher position for voting or discussing with the government in terms of policy, thereby protecting the rights of its members.
On the Southern Office, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang committed that General Council would mobilize more members and build positive relationship of members in order to find solutions to support members in domestic and foreign investment.
