Groundbreaking of 5 bridges in Moc Hoa – Long An

(Nong Thon Viet) In the morning of June 30, 2020, People’s Committee of Moc Hoa District (Long An Province) held a ground-breaking ceremony of 5 bridges which are raised fund by Rural Bridge Program- Nong Thon Viet Magazine. The total number of bridges of the project in this local area is 16.

5 bridges including Binh Bac 1, Binh Bac 2 bridges in Binh Hoa Tay commune and Duong Bang bridge, Cay Kho Lon, T2 in Binh Thach commune. These are ancient, deteriorated bridges that only meet the demand for traffic for rudimentary vehicles and on foot.

BCG Energy Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of Bamboo Capital Group) has funded VND 5 billion for the construction of these bridges. New bridge constructions with a minimum load of 5 tons, 4m wide surface, prefabricated reinforced concrete piers, and reinforced concrete girders with pre-stress.

Mr. Truong Hai Dang, Deputy District Secretary of the Moc Hoa District Party Committee, representative of the local government presented flowers of gratitude to the Organiztion Board of Rural Bridge Program and the sponsor

Mr. Tran Dang Danh, Vice Chairman of Moc Hoa District People’s Committee, who told: When these new bridges put into use, it will create favorable conditions for people not only to travel but also to transport agricultural products; The education of hundreds of students in the area is also less strenuous during the flooding season. These constructions also help Moc Hoa district ages achieve the goal of eliminating, replacing temporary bridges, constructing a continuous transportation system connecting district administrative center with border patrol route.
